3/2/24, birthday month trip
This is our second trip here, finally taking the chance to review the place.
Beyond the excellent beer offerings, fantastic food, and relaxing atmosphere, we are impressed with the co-owner/brewer! We have found that at most breweries the brewers tend to be standofff-ish and don't appreciate their beer fans. It's so different here. The co-owner, brewer, chef is so personable and enjoys visiting with all who come in. We appreciate this so much, it makes us want to come back and come back!

Stopped by on my way home for lunch. Very busy as the WVU basketball game was on. The place was very crowded but my dad and I got a seat at the bar. I ordered a flight of the 8 beers they had on tap (8, 2oz. beers for $6) and my dad ordered the blonde ale. The bartender provided great service considering how busy they were. We both ordered the fried bologna sandwich. The food came out quick and it was delicious. The beers were average to good. My favorites were the strawberry ale and the buckwheat honey porter. Overall a nice place to stop by for lunch and a beer if you are in the area. I will definitely stop by again.
