On tap at the brewery taproom in Murphy NC.
Appearance. Clear, dark reddish-brown with a decent but short off-white head.
Aroma. Mild, clean and malty.
Flavor. True to style excepting a relatively heavy alcohol presence.

Drinking this at The Valley River Brewery in Downtown Murphy NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks very dark brown almost black with a nice tannish foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin cap.
Smells malty, roasted, spicy.
Taste follows the nose nicely with a nice creamy finish..
Mouth feel is medium for the style with a nice dry finish.
Overall a very nice example of a Porter that I would definitely order again
Cheers!
