This is our 120 minute DDH Red IPA. This guy is loaded full of Mosiac, Citra & Chinook hops. The nose is sweet floral and the taste will please all of those who appreciate a hoppy ale.

BOTTLE from HEB:
Swing and a miss...not sure why this even got released, to be honest. Tastes like the kind of beer a homebrewer thought they could brew at scale and couldn't. Wouldn't pass QC at most serious breweries...just plain bad.
Too sweet, too malty, hop profile is mediocre to just plain bad, too bready, too thick.
Low D+ / NOT RECOMMENDED

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy reddish amber color with a one finger head of off-white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a good sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is big of a lightly toasted bready and caramel aroma mixed with a big showing of pine and herb. Along with these aromas comes notes of sweet orange citrus and some grapefruit hop. With a bit of cherry and some light alcohol smells, a very inviting sweet but dank red smell is produced overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice lightly toasted bready flavor mixed with a mix of caramel and light molasses sweetness. Along with these tastes comes tastes of pine and herbal hop. The hop are more moderate upfront, but get stronger as the taste advances. At the same time other hop flavors of bitter grapefruit rind and some light earth develop as well. During that time the roastiness increases a bit and the sweet decreases a bit. A touch of harvest fruit and dark fruit come at the very end to replace the loss of some caramel and molasses, and with the flavor transitions that had occurred throughout, it leave one with a rather nice dank and semi-sweet lightly toasted red ale taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is on the average to slightly higher side. For the more dank nature, mixed with the sweet and the red ale flavors, the feel is nice and makes for a nice easy sipper.
Overall – A rather tasty red ale with a nice hit of dank pine and herb all while still balanced by some sweet malt and citrus.
