The vibe here is that classic warehouse brewery that Saint Arnold perfected years ago before they opened the "newery." A big open area with picnic tables everywhere. They do have TV's for sports, but those don't get in the way if you aren't in the mood to stare at TV's. You can order a the counter, no need for tokens here. They also sell beer to go from the brewery. So they can fill growlers and crowlers to go There is a cooler with crowlers already filled for the day as well. Which is a nice touch.
Anyway, I have been here many times, and continue to try and enjoy their beers. Some of the original year round offerings have always been a bit of a let down for me. Though I can tell some of their newer offerings are a step up. Like Chop Shop and Mini Boss (both are many times better than the year round IPA Space Train), and the new Belgian Pale Ale is very tasty. They just released their first barrel aged stout, which is a bit rough around the edges for me. The beer is almost always served to me in a plastic cup at the taproom, which I really can't stand.
Overall, A nice set up with some good beers, some average. A mostly enjoyable spot around the Heights though, and is becoming a staple for many people in the area.
