This brew was much better than I expected. It’s nice to be surprised with a light beer.
The color is a deep, slightly hazy, golden hue. The head is of moderate size: white, falling into trailing wisps. Grain and faint hops in the aroma. There’s a fleeting sweet, mildly-malty, and almost-doughy characteristic in the flavor. It’s fleeting, for sure, but it’s very appealing. Light body, weak hop finish. It’s very drinkable, and exceedingly good for a light beer. In fact, this may be one of the best tasting light beer’s I’ve ever had.

12 oz.er browner with a checkered label and all kinds of info on the side like calories: Who cares, Carbohydrates: Who cares, Protein & Fat: Who cares, and ABV: 4.15%.

A light golden slightly hazy pour with an impressive cloudy fluffy white head that hung in there, finished off with the teeniest bubbles rising.

Scents are weak. Not surprising since it's a light beer. Malts & light hops in the nose.

Flavors are hiding here. I am getting a confused mix that is confusing me. Just some lightly lemony hops that somehow switch to a cola like mystery. Hmmm...I just noticed that the label doesn't indicate ale or lager.

Watery feel that could as easily go down the drain as into me gullett.

Last swigs: Tastes like a lost beer searching for some identity. The redeeming part of this beer is that it was free from the Mendocino Brewery where it is contract brewed. It was a freebie because me bought so much stuff while I was there. Otherwise, not a nice beer. Oh, and the label 140 calories, and 13 grams of carbs(LIGHT??!!)

Beer is good. Happy beering.

For a light lager with a funny name, this brew really impressed me.
Arrived a clear medium light golden colour with a nice crown.
Carbonation is average and the body is a medium. Thin lace and moderate cling present a nice picture.
The nose has a slight yeasty scent to it.
I find the taste has a light hop character to it and balances well with the malts.

The beer pours a very pale gold color with a lacey white head. The aroma is weak. There is not much to it besides pale malts. The taste is average at best. It's another light beer. There is no complexity nor real beer taste. The mouthfeel is good. This is an extremely low bodied beer with a good amount of carbonation. It goes down smooth and is a good drinker.

This brew pours a slightly hazy straw color with a nice size head that doesn't last very long leaving a sexy lace behind.

The smells of pale malt and moderate hops make this a nice light brew.

The sharp carbonation burns the tongue on the way down. The pils malts is taste great along with a nice clean crisp finish. I wish this was a little more complex, but what the hell its light.

Cheers

It's a light beer, natch. It's a light beer brewed for a specific horse for cryin' out loud. It's by all rights, going to be bad, especially for fans of IBU's and high ABV's.

But hold your horses, bub. This is one of the better light lagers i've ever tasted. Sure, that's like saying "this is one of the best tiny economy cars I've ever driven" in Road and Track, but I say it means something. All ratings numbers are referent to the style.

The hue of a pine board with a plush white head.

Crisp light aroma, fine hops note with no off notes.

Sweet round malt attack with dry finish. reminds me of Ballantine without the skunky. A little hollow/empty in finish, but about as aggressive in taste and mouthfeel as a light lager can get.
