Overall this was not a bad beer but there were a lot of inconsistencies. First was there was nothing reminiscent of an Alt beer at all. Then the ABV was not on the board and none of the employees seemed to know anything about the beer. This was not like the Sackets I have known and loved.
Appearance- A wonderful bronze beer. It was served with a very thin head as were all their beers this day.
Smell- A strong odor of alcohol with some grain and hop tones.
Taste- Grainy with some coffee taste to it.
Mouthfeel. A little chewy but not much.
Drinkability- Even though the name was misleading it was not a bad beer. It went down well and was pretty smooth.
