Had at the SOURCE in Sackett's Harbor, NY.
Not a bad brew, decent dark brown color with one finger head. Quick disappation with ok lacing. Taste was about an average for an IPA, a basic balance.
Not bad, although I warn you. It is not BREWED in Sackett's. Apparently it is brewed in another location (Rochester I believe) and then brought to Sackett's. I was a little disappointed, but it was ok. The 1812 is better, and much more readily available, especially in the area.

On tap at the brewery.
A: Served a slightly hazy copper color with a decent head that fades to some lacing.
S: Malt and grain aroma with a trace of citrus mixed in.
T: Has a ctrus and mild roasted malt flavor. Also a light bitterness and fairly dry finish.
F: fairly medium body, somewhat crisp & clean feel.
D: fairly easy drinker. Decent for a small brewer. Not quite what I expected from an IPA. the bartender stated that it was an IPA but seemed more like a Pale Ale.
