12 ounce bottle into a pilsner glass. Had 1/11/22. Obtained as a FOBAB 2021 to go purchase.
Pours a medium golden color that has a slight dark pinkish tinge, with a two inch head of creamy foam with good retention and some foamy lacing. Was clear on the first pour, somewhat cloudy on the second. Aromas of peppercorn, some Brett, malt, herbal hops, some lemon, light cranberry. Flavors of lemon, malt, herbal and earthy hops, light Brett, some tart cranberry, light peppercorn. Smooth, a good lighter body, well carbonated.
This was pretty interesting. The Meyer lemon is pretty dominant in the flavor, I forget what a different flavor that is. The base seemed pretty solid and it’s a good looking beer, to boot. Very enjoyable.
