2022 Release of Heavy Metal Drummer. Aged 18 months in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. Our boldest roasty stout tamed by the sweet and luscious notes of vanilla, brown sugar, and blue & red skinned fruits from a long rest in bourbon barrels.

From the growler (!!!) in a snifter via the Fermatorium. This monster
pours a murky coal black with a nice head of brown foam that settles to a
thick ring, thin faint dusty layer, and sports subtle lacing. Nose of dark
sweet chocolate, dark fruit notes of blueberry and cherry, subtle coffee,
rich bourbon, vanilla, and subtle oak. Flavors go to 11. Dark chocolate
mingles with lightly tart cherry and light blueberry in a sea of mellow
bourbon, vanilla, and oak. Subtle coffee and char mingle nicely with
the roast, subtle smoke, and faint tobacco with warmth. Mouth feel
is full, smooth, rich, coating, warming, light carbonation, and a rich
boozy finish that is subtly dry.
Overall, a monster....er...ahh...giant.
Cheers
