From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This stunner pours a reddish tinged
muddled brown with a nice head of khaki foam that sizzles to a thin ring with some
light lacing and nice legs. Nose of candy sugars, clove, coriander, bourbon, vanilla,
and subtle oak. Flavors expand nicely on the nose with dates, cherry, bourbon, oak,
vanilla, clover, coriander, and subtle dark bread notes amongst sherry notes. Mouth
feel is medium, smooth, light carbonation, and a lightly dry finish.
Overall, another winner from what I am quickly calling one of the best breweries in Cincinnati!
Cheers
