From the 16.9 fl oz bottle in a snifter. This unique brew pours a muddled
murky brownish black with sizzling head that fades to nothing. Nose of
toffee, salt, faint bourbon, vanilla, brandy, maple, and oddly enough
pretzels. Flavors follow the nose with salt and caramel up front, pretzel
and bourbon show mid taste with faint vanilla and cream. Mouth feel is
full, coating, faint carbonation, lightly warming, and finishing sweet verging
on cloying.
Overall, a unique idea, but in application it is a bit much on the salt
with light bourbon elements. Kinda like that idea you had once when you
were drunk, wrote it down, and then the next day wondered if it was a
solid idea or not....
