Artisan Belgian Dubbel with aromas of charred toast & dark toffee with raisin & dark caramel malty body & lightly roasty medium dry finish.

From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This solid little dubbel pours a nice
clear reddish copper with a very nice head of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin clumping layer, and sports some nice lacing. Nose of dark raisin bread, light
toffee, subtle cherry, light Belgian spice of clove, and sweet Belgian candy sugars.
Flavors hit the mark with candy sugars dashed on dark raisin bread with some
spice cake elements, toffee, and light cherry / vinous notes. Mouth feel is
medium, medium light soft carbonation, smooth, and finishing moderately
dry.
Overall, a fantastic brew from a great little brewery!
