Dark roasted malts complement the silky smoothness and creamy finish of this oatmeal stout fermented with our own fresh ground coffee beans roasted in house.

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at The Vine on August 13, 2017. Way too much coffee aroma and taste for me. There is not enough balance. If you love coffee this might be for you.

An abomination of a beer, or at least a bad batch. Had on tap and poured a black with tan foam, classic look, but very oily in appearance. The smell was coffee, burnt hair and tobacco. The taste was ash tray that had been dipped in melted butter and salt. Awful! Feel was a super watery and oily mess. Might be the worst craft beer I have ever had

Black with a thin layer of tan foam around the edges. Spotty bits, not much lace.
Good coffee aroma, roasty with a little astringency.
Taste is dark roast coffee forward, astringent which starts to kill the drinkability.
Sharpness of the coffee lingers, aftertaste is a little dry. Coffee is a little harsh.
Overall it needs a little fine tuning to balance.
