Poured a cloudy straw gold body with little head and lace, so I'm a little bit thrown off as I'm used to having a Kolsch that is seethru with no cloudiness at all. There seems to be extra yeast in this beer as the yeast comes through in the aroma and then makes the light mouthfeel pass real slick and fluffy (almost like a wheat beer). There is this grassy hop and slightly acidic sharpness to add balance but the beer finishes with an oddly sweet finish.

Not a Kolsh fan, but have to say, this was true to style. Looks like a slightly darker version of your typical lager, but the flavors and malts blend well together and make you feel that you are sitting in a Festhaus in Germany having this one. Lots of malt that leads to another clean finish with a bit of malty undertones at the end. Average head and lacing a very good example of the style
