Poured on tap, but into a plastic cup.
Looks okay, no real head or any retention or lacing. It's clear and about the right color for an Altbier.
Nose, mild sweetness of alcohol and nothing else.
Flavor is bad. Most prominent flavor is alcohol, followed by mineral/metal. These flavors intensify as it warms.
Feel is brash, uncharacteristic for the style.
One of the worst beers I've had in a very long time. I could not finish it. it was ice cold and drinkable at first but as soon as it warmed enough to taste anything it was bad. It only got worse. Could be lots of causes for this but I'm certain there were issues with a couple things, whether it's the water being used, the equipment, the temperature control... I am going to have to hear "they made some changes" before I'd try this again.
