There doesn't appear to be a date on the can or the label affixed to the can.

Appearance: The body is very hazy and gold, but there is enough clarity to see an insane amount of carbonation. Fuzzy shadows are visible through the glass. The head is large with big bubbles that pop out and dance on the surface as the carbonation bubbles barrage the surface. Spotty blotches of lacing are left on the glass.

Aroma: CO2 burn hits the nose so it's good to air this one out a bit. There is a light bit of cream of wheat and some clove on the nose.

Taste: Up front there is a lot of clove, then some strong bay leaf. It has a very strong herbal flavor which dominates the palate. There is a light touch of cedar towards the middle. This beer is definitely not wanting for flavor; it is stuffed to the rafters with Belgian Yeast character. After a while a bit of bubblegum flavor started to crop up as well which is nice.

Mouthfeel: It is medium-light in body with a lot of carbonation giving it a false sense of a lighter body as the carbonation rushes the beer off the tongue and prickles. There is a mild herbal bitterness.

Overall: The label on the can states that this is a "BELGIAN WIT WITH ORANGE PEEL & CORIANDER." Neither of these ingredients make an appearance. On the negative-side the carbonation of the beer feels too high which kills some of the texture and overall body presence. On the positive-side this beer has some of the best Belgian Yeast character you will find. If you really love the yeast character found in a good Hefeweizen or Witbier then I would still recommend this beer. If you are looking for something with a bit of orange peel flavor, some wheat tartness, and some sweet coriander then I would recommend trying something else. As a whole I found the beer enjoyable because of the yeast character. I might try it again in the future to see if the brewery perfects it but I probably won't buy it again this year.
