Friendliest tap room I’ve visited in months!
Small place, with plenty of room at the bar along with tables. Those complaining about too many IPAs will enjoy their tap list—a dozen handles with only one double ipa to be found. Taco Tuesday test kitchen for the win! Glad to see vegetarian options. Clear they are prepared for growler fills and the advertise the last time they cleaned tap lines, too. Can confirm—tasting tray is in the shape of a four leaf cover. It’s a real find!

Tried Four Leaf Brewing on a quiet Wednesday afternoon just as it opened. Tried a flight while the rest of the crew sampled a couple of different styles before ordering a pint. Flight was four 5oz samples is a wooden tray shaped like a four leaf clover. Staff was knowledgeable and very nice. Didn't order food but the server brought some fresh popped popcorn. Not a big place. More than just bar stools which is appreciated because we're all short. Located not too far from Clare's Cops & Doughnuts. Was able to park on street right in front of Four Leaf. Would definitely go back again.

Stopped here on a Friday afternoon around 2 with the family. Aside from Cops & Doughnuts down the street, Downtown Clare has never been busy anytime I've been there (at least twice a year heading up north and coming back) and this time was no exception. Except for one woman who came in to look for a menu we were the only patrons the time we were there.
The pub is a single, airy room. Along one wall are a few four tops with high legged chairs; in the middle, several round tops and one long table for larger parties. We sat along the other wall with bench seating. At the front of the pub is space for local bands to play against the wide windows facing the street, opposite is taken up by the bar and a small merch area. The pub is bright : Lots of natural light flows in and the tabletops are of a blonde wood.
Flight was served in an attractive four leaf clover shaped paddle, a nice touch. There were nine ales on tap. We had the Red, White and Blue Dip, the Fromage Jambon, and the kids had pizza. There's a popcorn maker with free popcorn, which kept the kids occupied until the food arrived.
Food was good, if on the smaller portion size. The beer, however, was fantastic. This tiny pub is well worth the stop for anyone traveling through mid-Michigan. I know I'll be returning again and again.
