Poured out of a 1L plastic bottle, 18,700 VND from a vinmart+ in Tứ Liên.

It's a little one-dimensional (a generic malty sweetness cut by acidity from the carbonation is really all I tasted), but there's nothing offensive in its flavor either. Assuming Viet Ha Corp were aiming to make a drinkable, simple beer; I'd say they accomplished that goal. I don't want to hype it too much, but it's hard to poo-poo something that's less than $1 (at least at the time of writing).

"Viet Ha Draught Beer"

1 litre plastic screw-top bottle purchased at an Intimex supermarket in Hanoi for 17500 VND.

4% ABV.

Pilsner malts, dirty grass, straw.

Overcarbonated yet refreshing (though it lacks a clean presentation of flavour). Smooth and wet.

Drinkable budget fare, and definitely a generic tasting pale lager I'd happily revisit for purposes of mere intoxication. But it won't impress discerning drinkers. Quality is surprisingly decent given its shockingly low price.
