Had this from a bottle purchased from a local grocer. Fantastic American IPA! Very light citrusy undertones with a nice maltiness. At 7.5% ABV, you can certainly taste the alcohol, but it isn’t overpowering or offputting. This is another solid offering from River Watch!

Has all the makings of a good double IPA except any pronounced fruity aromas. That said, poured from a tap at Mellow Mushroom, had a solid creamy head. Nice amber look and great flavor profile; not overly hoppy and slightly bitter. Some doubles have a strong alcohol taste; not this one.
Of note is a surprisingly strong malty taste; not overpowering and likely subdues any annoying alcohol taste you'd find in a 7.5% ABV.
I'd get it again!
Had it on tap from The Pizza Joint here in August GA on 2/11/16. Same strong malty taste with balanced bitters and fruit aromas. I was, however, disappointed in the quality this time which is probably attribute to The Pizza Joint. Usually their great selection is on point in freshness and quality, however this time there was very little head (1/8in dissipated quickly), and somewhat flat. Lines not cleaned recently? CO2 issue? Either way, I then had a tried-and-true Terrapin Hopsecutioner which had the same head/flatness qualities. So, I chalk it up to CO2 or the beer's being stored too cold.

Poured from the tap at the Augusta World of Beer. Has a nice golden color with a medium sized white head. Excellent mild hoppy flavor. A real good beer from a new start up brewer.
