sick can and awesome cause - pours out an almost clear golden color. bright white head leaves some lacing. aromas of orange, grapefruit, mint, bubblegum, sweet malts and a hint of pine. palate is orange, grapefruit, peach, some earthy dankness, doughy malts, honey like sweetness, herbaceous and a touch of pine on the finish. mouthfeel is right on point, medium bodied but great texture.

Bottom of the can stamped 06/05/17.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a soft yellow color with a sly transparency about it. Some carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Slim finger's worth of white foamy head escaped pretty quick. Not much lace, what there was just slid right on into the beer.
The aroma started off with some sweet lemon to orange pulp up front, somewhat sugary but not overbearing. Sweet wheat broadened the balance and a delicate sweet to bitter piney underneath seemed to heighten the overall aromatic quality of it all.
The flavor was moderately sweet through the prior mentioned aromas but then allowed the piney bitterness to proceed in the blend. Nice blend from wheat to pine to citrusy characters rolling together in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a spectacular sessionability about it. Carbonation melded with the ABV nd IBU's aappropriately for a consistent smooth to semi-bitter harsh quality rolling over my tongue.
Overall, pretty nice APA. Nice collaboration between two respectful Vermont breweries for a good cause. I need more cans for fishing.
