Pours a hazy golden straw with a finger of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with plenty of lacing. Aroma of orange juice and citrus. Taste follows nose.

Pours a hazy yellow with a bubbly white head and decent lacing. The aroma is really nice with big Ruby red grapefruit, orange, Sauvignon Blanc, and earthy hop flavors backed up by clean, bready malt, and a touch of stonefruit. The flavor opens with pithy grapefruit and a firm bitterness, and moves into drying wine grape and crackers malt. The finish is fairly crisp and the grapefruity wine character lingers on the tongue. Overall, a really nice expression of Nelson hops, would buy again if I was in the mood.

Canned on 1/15/2020. Pours slightly cloudy orange with a half finger sticky white head that leaves a massive film of lace, with solid retention. 4.25

Smell is green grape, apple, pear, mango, and white grapefruit. 4

Taste follows grape, apple, mango, pear, and a little hint of grapefruit. 4

Mouthfeel is about medium, soft carbonation, a tad dry, and at 6.8% very easy drinking. 4

Overall this one is solid for sure, but missing that wow factor. I always expect big things from Upper Pass and this one is just good. 4

Can. Murky with lasting small head and a little lace. Grapefruit Wheaties aroma with some canned grapefruit juice. Medium sweetness fruity and some raw pizza dough with medium grapefruit citrus lemon bitterness. Medium body soft and fine and slightly slick for style. Good for an NE IPA.

Thought this was a DIPA and poured into a tulip. Can dated "09/17/2019."
The appearance was a beautiful hazy burnt orange woody color capped by a slim white foamy head dissipating at a fine pace. Slight ring of lace trimmed the top of my glass and softly fell through.
The aroma had some white grapes and hop oily grassy dankiness. Slight whiff of Vidalia onions and sweet garlic advocate lightly in the background. Took a little bit but an ever so slight hint of grapefruit peel slides in.
The flavor meshed the sweet with the dank through all of the previously mentioned aromas. Semi-dry white grapey aftertaste with some onion skin.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Enough dryness permeates my tongue and allows a touch of stickiness. Carbonation felt good, nice and low. Finishes with the white grapes and some sticky tropical fruits.
Overall, it's more of a New England styled one than American IPA but no worries, it's still one to definitely have again.

16 oz. can.
Canned 9:49 AM, Tuesday, the 17th of September, 2019.

I drank a can each night for 4 nights; starting at 12 hours since canning, then 36, 60, and now 82 hours old. Its progress was nothing short of a lesson that every hop lover should experience. After almost 3 and a half days it has come together very nicely after acclimating to its new (much smaller) vessel.

Moderate pour yields a one inch egg shell white head over a very hazy body with some sticky lacing. Nose of tropical fruit and slight Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Taste mirrors nose fairly closely with the white grape coming forward a bit to challenge the tropical fruit. Very smooth, and rather juicy; like grapefruit, passion fruit, and Sav Blanc grape all got together to a have party! Nice full mouthfeel and overall, this is a beautifully smooth beer and will definitely have again. Cheers!!
