Easy, smooth and sessionable, Upper Pass rolls out a pale ale that bridges the classic American beer flavor with newer hops and balances for a beer that's as comfortable as your favorite pull over.
Cashmere Hoodie gets going with a pale gold pour and a citrusy, juicy and softly herbal scent as soon as its frothy white cap builds upon the rim. Gentle sweetness of honeysuckle, agave and light cereal frame an underlying maltiness that plays a supporting roll for the bold hop flavor to come. White grapefruit, lime and lemon bring a racy taste with a backup of kiwi and honeydew for a juicy dryness and a slightly hop tilted balance to close.
Medium bodied, smooth and calming, the ale finishes sprucy and balsa-like with hints of coconut and vanilla close in tow. When having more than one, this one fits like that favorite hoodie for sure.

Golden yellow in color with a thick white head. Head fades very slowly. Nose is pineapple, although fairly weak. Taste was also weak, no real flavors jump out. No bitterness on palate at all.

It looks like the epitome of an American Pale Ale, resting inside a clear glass liter mug. With the entire contents of a pint can now emptied, its rich dark amber color can be seen. It's just a bit cloudy and a very nice off-white head was produced by the pour. The aroma holds both hops and sweet malt characteristics. The taste is on the mild side, not particularly sweet, nor bitterly hoppy. There isn't much more bite here than a richly brewed unsweetened black tea. That's certainly how some people prefer their ale. The head sustained and some glass lacing appeared as the vessel quickly drained. This is one of those can't say anything bad about it brews. Its mouthfeel is just right for what it delivers. Unfortunately, it's also one with nothing exciting going on. There are times for an easy drinking ale that brings a little more to taste than a lager, but doesn't hit the taste buds hard, like a good West Coast IPA. This can be recommended for those times.

Quality Pale Ale. Nothing stands out but a nice tasting beer. Nice balance between the hops and malt. Very crushable.

Cloudy gold/orange appearance with some whitish material floating around.
Body is about medium with about the same for the carbonation.
Aroma is a nice mix of citrus fruit and peel, mild tropical fruits, earthy floral hops.
Taste is very similar to aroma with it coming off a bit dry. Citrus is most prevalent but doesn't totally dominate.
Really nice flavorful beer

From the can, it pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a nice white head that lasts and leaves lacing. In the nose, it is citrusy. The mouth gets a citrusy, slightly malty brew that is easy to drink.
