from a 16 oz. can dated 04/19/2021. Sampled Aug 15, 2021.
The appearance is a murky golden-yellow underneath a modest lasting white head and a lot of floating sediment.
The aroma is citrus, red grapefruit, orange, and a lower profile cereal grain. It has a hint of a boozy pungency.
Smooth, medium or better body.
The taste is sweet and juicy to start but the grapefruit bitterness really kicks in at the end and lingers on my palate.

Canned on 04-19-21.
A - Pours a very hazy medium golden apricot color with dense soapy lacing.
S - Apricot, papaya, and delicate tropical fruit spice.
T - The very first thing I notice with this beer is the nice spicy and pine character. After that, there's some apricot, papaya, orange and citrus qualities that are light in character but very nice. Finishes more towards the bitter side and scrubs away a little bit of the sweet fruit residue. The sweet fruit part of the beer gets a tad sugary after awhile.
M - Big soft carbonation on the tongue with a moderate amount of dryness in the back of the mouth.
O - I dig the spiciness of this beer.

16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a cloudy bright golden color with a 2 finger fluffy white head. Great retention. Leaves a nice crown of lacing around the top of the glass.
Aromas of papaya, grapefruit and peach with plenty of dank and earthy pine.
The flavor is a nice balance of "East meets West" flavors, to use that tired cliche. Lots of papaya, apricot, peach rings and oranges as well as a hefty dose of grapefruit with a sticky pine finish.
The feel is medium bodied with moderately high carbonation. A tad sticky but has a nice dry finish. Definitely a nice, old school mouthfeel.
Overall, this is a very good DIPA that balances sweet and fruity hop notes with plenty of earthiness and danksauce. Nothing special, but definitely worth a try.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 4/19/21. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace with nice retention. 4
Aroma slightly dank marijuana, mandarin, passionfruit, apricot, pine, and grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows marijuana, mandarin, passionfruit, apricot, pine, and a pretty aggressive hit of grapefruit. 4
Mouthfeel is a big medium, a tad sticky not dry, more carbonation than what is true to the style, and at 8% easy enough going down. 4
Overall not my favorite from them, but still pretty good. Worth a go, especially if you like old school bitter DIPAs. 4

Excellent beer as it warms up at about 50°.
Golden color with a 4F head in a Spielgelau IPA glass.
Fruity aroma.
Nicely carbonated- just right.
The fruit and other citrus are stronger and broader in the taste.
Overall- let the beer warm up. The combo of Amarillo and Idaho 7 is interesting.
Idaho 7 is more earthy and the Amarillo counterbalances this.
