Now that's a delicious lager! Upper Pass did it again.
A bit richer and maltier than some other dry-hopped Italian Pilsner-style brews, this one is very close to the real thing.
Color: rich golden with an elegant touch of coarsely filtered haze
Taste/Body: mesmerizing. A gently dry-hopped and just a touch malty yet unmistakably pilsner-style journey of the palate.
Smell: happy grassy sourdoughy summery aromas.
WORTHY!

Undated 16 ounce can.
Moderate pour yields a one and 3/4 inch white head over a slightly hazy, light golden body with some lacing.
Nose of bread, hay, and citrus with floral notes as well.
Taste mirrors nose fairly closely; nice and crisp with a slightly hoppy bitterness present throughout and finishing with a bit of spice.
Mouthfeel is very nice and full with medium carbonation.
Overall, a worthy Vermont Pilsner which should not be overlooked!
Cheers!!

Italian pilsner, no can date
Pours a large frothy semi dense 1.5 finger head with good retention, sticky lacing, mostly clear very slight haze tan to deep golden color
Nose some cereal grain, quite doughy, raw sour dough, hay and a bit grassy, hint of lemon and lemongrass, light floral grassy hop
Taste starts with more cereal grain, a hint of corn from the pilsner malt, doughy again, raw bread dough, cereal, clean lager, soft malt but don't think decoction, fair hops up front, grassy floral herbal, turning spicy late, light bitterness up front, finishes dry crisp with a big spicy hop bitterness that lingers and keeps you coming back for the next sip
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, soft lager, crisp finish, med foamy carb
Overall a nice Italian pilsner
