Oasis . Sour Ale with Oranges and Vanilla Bean . 5.7%
While heavily fruited beers are more popular than ever, they come at the expense of shelf stability when packaged with unfermented fruit. For this reason, we fully-ferment all of the fruit prior to packaging in order to prevent quality issues down the line.

Saved for national creamsicle day.
16 oz can acclimated to 44°F and poured into a tulip glass.
Pours hazy, the color of dried apricot, very nice color, soft and inviting. Produces a quickly dissipating, 1.5 finger, effervescent white head, leaving very little lacing that I noticed.
Initial aroma is strong, boozy, fermented, indistinct fruit, I can make out orange but I'm not sure I would not knowing what it is, it seems to smell of the whole fruit. There's a definite brandy note to it, and a very faint spice, like cinnamon. After agitating I pick up a big yeasty funk, hiding some orange.
Initial taste before swallowing is somewhat tart, with an alcohol burn building, again I'm reminded of brandy specifically for whatever reason. I get orange zest wafting up to the roof of the mouth as well. After swallowing I'm hit with fruity tartness, slowly giving way to a fermented fruit taste, akin to molding bread, sounds terrible but it's not, think wild ale bacteria. This fermentation taste is found more in the exhale and in whiffs than it is on the tongue. Something notable is that the alcohol actually burns, at only 5.7%, I suspect the burn is bolstered by the fermentation taste, but I'm not sure. I must admit I'm disappointed, finding almost zero vanilla.
Mouthfeel is bursting with juicy texture and the large carbonation bubbles are very eager like seltzer.
Overall I'm not sure of my exact feelings on this one. It's good, but I don't love the huge fermentation flavor. I will say the flavor and mouthfeel match very well. I really could barely tell vanilla had been added, and I'd personally advocate for a good deal more to be added.
I don't think I'll buy again, but I'll check out the others in the series.
