48 Kings is named for Columba, founder of Iona Abbey. In honor of St. Columba, the charity focus of this beer is Cancer. In the U.S. alone, 600,000 will die this year. Just as Columba inspired the Scots in battle, we want to help our family, friends, and neighbors fight this terrible disease. A portion of the profit from this great Scotch Ale will be donated to help.
