Helles is the official beverage of Munich’s beer gardens. This German Lager is light in color, but that doesn’t mean that it lacks flavor. In fact, that’s what makes Helles so special. Its delicate floral and herbal hop aromas blend perfectly with a subtle malt sweetness. That grainy sweet flavor is followed by a dry, almost champagne-like finish.

The website says this is a current seasonal, but I think this is kind of a twinner between Summer and Fall. Anyway added as a fall seasonal.
A: Pours a brilliantly clear golden yellow color. A dense two finger white head forms with excellent retention and lacing for days.
S: An amazingly simple aroma of grains, baked bread, and lightly spicy/grassy hops. I can't get enough.
T: Again, this is great and beautifully simple. Grains, baked bread that is almost like sourdough. Just the slightest touch of herbal/grassy/spicy hops that is not really bitterness. Though is noticeable.
M/O: A light body with perfect effervescent carbonation. Super clean and very dry. Incredibly moreish, and a perfect example of less is more. I want to down this many times in big gulps.
Another fantastic lager made by Riggs. Every time I have them they keep getting better. Without resting on their laurels, they continue to make great traditional styles. I can't say how impressed I am, and they are becoming one of my favorite German breweries in the States (with Live Oak in my backyard that is saying something).
