Kronprinz Bamberg "Ebony Smoke Touch"

Notes: Clear dark brown body (82 EBC) with orange highlights beneath a full head of densely foamy khaki colored foam. Very good head retention but only average lacing. The arom delivers grainy malt with a hint of smoke and suggestion of chocolate. The flavor follows but adds a hint of caramel and some mildly woody and spicy hops. A median bitterness balances it and it finishes dry with some short-lingering, low level smokiness. In the mouth it's light-medium to medium in body, and smooth with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation level. Very nicely balanced and rounded.
