Hazy sunset orange with an audibly, active fizz in the body that does not accumulate to a head, actually leaving a still surface.
Smell is toasted sesame, lightly charred young oak, white wine vinegar and orange.
Tart apricot, orange and grapefruit flavors lead into funky, woody and nutty oak that has a very unique accent, like acorn, pecan and toasted sesame--I'm not really sure how to describe it but it's kind of lovely. Year One Blend is also pretty perfectly sour. While it has the flavor of balsamic vinegar, it does not have the acidity.
The smooth, round body has a crisp but very light fizz and a super tingly, saliva-inducing twinge that lasts quite a minute before a chalky, semi-dry finish.

Acetic acid is too prominent, otherwise this is a nice spontaneous ale.
