Was able to try at a bottle share. Chocolate cherry syrup meets roasted malt, milk chocolate and bourbon. Nice balance, a good level of booze, wet and dry factors both present. Smell is more cherry chocolate liqueur, where taste has more roasted and bourbon depth. Slow moving party because it drink one sip at a time

A jet black brew with a tall and firm dark tan froth.
A pleasant mix of cherry, dark chocolate and gum flows to the nose.
Tastes of milk chocolate, gum, and cherry syrup with a few notes of dark chocolate for balance.
Medium and smooth. Gets sweet at times w/ the cherry notes, but never becomes medicinal or cloying.
An easy going, flavorful sipper. And despite the name, this may not be a "party" kind of beer.

On tap at American Solera west location. Comes black with an average tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, fruit, and bourbon. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark cherries, bourbon barrel, and a bit of coffee. Well crafted.
