Fresh can poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass.
A: Moderately hazy straw with 1-finger white foamy head with low retention and no lacing.
S: Grassy hopping matched with haylike pilsner malt aromas, some cereal graininess
T: Flavor is still malt-forward despite the label of “hoppy pilsner.” Cereal graininess leads with some spicy, floral hops. Nondescript and not distinct enough in flavor character. Clean with low-moderate bitterness.
M: Light bodied with dry finish and moderate carbonation.
O: Disappointing effort in some regards — nondistinct lager which is clean but doesn’t offer a lot else unique.
