L: Poured from a clear glass bottle to a snifter glass. Had a purple-ish color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, off white, somewhat long-lasting head. Not much lacing to speak of.

S: An interesting aroma of funky yeast, red wine grapes, and some other light fruits.

T: Tasted of a light malt presence (very fleeting), lot of red wine grapes (the dominant ingredient here), a light, almost citrusy flavor (orange, if I had to guess), and a decent amount of funky yeast (present throughout). Like the aroma, the flavor's an oddly interesting thing. It really does taste like a hybrid of red wine and beer.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.

O: A well done, if unusual, beer. Worth a look.
