This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like massive and slightly spicy chocolate fudge, caramel, roasty coffee, spice, oak, and bourbon.
This is just massive in the best way. There's lot of coffee, but it doesn't completely dominate. The coffee is super smooth, without any acidity or acrid(ity)? The huge chocolate and spice character dovetails perfectly in the big sweet fudgy body of the base stout. The bourbon adds some light oak, and a touch of bourbon sweetness, without any booziness at all.
This beer is big and massive, and somehow it's not boozy, at all - and not all that syrup. How is this possible?
American Solera are clearly stout wizards. This is pretty unreal stuff.
