This one pours a light purplish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
There's lots of blueberry on the nose, but there's something slightly off-putting about it - it's prickly and bitter, almost too phenol-y. This sort of thing seems to happen with blueberry a decent amount.
The base, unfruited version of this beer is significantly better than this one. The blueberry dominates, and has a few unfortunate off-flavors. It's weirdly bitter, and kind of funky in the not good way. I don't get much of the positive things that the base beer had going for it.
This is light bodied, and not very drinkable, with a crisp but bitter finish.
Blueberry is hard to nail, as it seems to give off some weird off-flavors often.
