Review #1444
I love the artwork, a cartoon luchador. I got this beer from Montana, thank you. The beer is a double dry-hopped IPA. The pour of the beer, I think this beer is NEIPA. The beer is 46 degrees and served in a tulip glass. The beer produced a one-fingered creamy and airy white head. The retention of the head is excellent, leaving thick lacing on the glass. Pale straw with light golden hues is the color in the beer, charting around SRM 3. A hazy beer, an iconic signature for NEIPA. A gorgeous beer and appealing to the eye.
The initial aromas in the beer are orange, pineapple, mango, and peaches. Nosing further in the glass, I smell biscuit, bready, toasted crackers, a touch of floral esters, herbal, dewy grass, and lemons.
I first taste mango, grapefruit, and fresh-cut hay. The second sip of beer I get, pineapples, resin, passion fruit, and oranges. Savoring the beer further, I taste biscuit, bread, toasted crackers, peaches, floral, bay leaves, lemons, dank basement, and subtle honey-like sweetness.
The mouthfeel of the beer is astringent and tannic.
The body of the beer is medium-plus, medium carbonation, and fuller finish.
This version of a NEIPA is good. I want those ripe fruit flavors that come in a classic NEIPA. The beer has some WCIPA attributes. I think this beer is more of a hybrid, leaning towards NEIPA. As the beer warmed, the flavor profile begins to bloom on the palate. A refreshing beer to enjoy on a warm summer night.

Pours a super hazy gold with 2+ fingers of rocky cream colored head. Good head retention & better lacing
S: Tropical and citrus fruits, fades a bit once warm
T: Guava, pomelo, green melon and dryness up front. Pink grapefruit, lime and a little green melon as this warms. Finishes with grapefruit, powdery dryness & lime
MF: Creamy, medium body; nice balance
Nice take on the hazy DIPA, goes down easy
