Thanks to RedHawkPoke for this one, from NBS BIF #12 box. 16oz can (no date) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a murky yellow color with more than an inch of white head that good retention and moderate lacing.

The aroma was, as one might expect, very hop forward. A full blast of citrus and fruit from the Mosaic. No real malt or grain showed through.

Same on the tongue, with the hops being notably brighter. Still no grain base though.

The body was smooth, had good carbonation throughout, and a medium finish.

Drinkability was fine, although if one is a bigger Mosaic fan than I am, you'll probably drink it quicker, and more often.

Overall, a solid beer. Worth a shot if you see it.

it was never anything hoppy that turned me onto these guys in the first place, but i guess now that they are making beer on the east coast with greater capacity, it makes sense to get into the cash cow game with these hazy pints. fortunately, the beers have been very good, i have been pretty impressed with a lot of their hoppy ones to come out this way so far, and this one is awesome too. pretty hazy and dense looking, high rising but short lived white head from the can, weird label art, amazing aroma, fresh sliced pineapple, cuties, and cantaloupe, all ripe and drippy, with a little bit of a candied concentrated intensity, perhaps some cryo mosaic here doing that, its a little more diverse in its fruitiness than mosaic often is to my senses, and the flavor matches the nose here. big ripe pineapple up front, some lemongrass and white grapefruit too, some oiliness and resinous intensity and texture, wheaty fuller base but dry in the end, not malty in the old school sense at all, and pretty clean on the fermentation, just a little neutral yeast character rounding this out. very well made beer, extremely fresh, and more complex overall than mosaic usually is on its own for me, which i appreciate greatly here. i wish we would see more of their wild and funky beers come out this way instead of the hoppy cans, but i guess i will take what i can get for now...

16 oz single can, canned on 7/30//20, purchased in Nebraska, poured into Ploughshare wide mouthed glass.

Pours a really nice murky juice with a creamy sticky cap of 2 fingers, receding gradually to 1/2 finger, loosely knit, and leaving tons of webbed sticky lace up the sides.

Aroma is a total juice dream. Just tons of wonderful pineapple, mango, orange sherbet, strawberry, and a little cannabis.

Flavor translates pretty well. Tons of slightly unripe grapefruit and pineapple, with some orange, strawberry, honeydew, and blueberries. A nice herbal stiffness lays delicately underneath it. It's really good.

Feel is juicy and acidic as all get-out, with a slight semi-creaminess underneath though the gravelly roughness of the carbonation drowns that note out a bit. Leaves resins on the finish.

Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable, well-executed, fantastically done NE IPA. I thought they were from Connecticut until I looked closer. Oklahoma! Ship it up here boys, we need you desperately. Nothing we get compares, not even close. Stellar stuff. Total stamp of approval.

Price paid : $4.99 / can
Would buy again : Definitely
