A-moderately hazy orange with prodigious head
S-citrus and pine, portending a bitter DIPA to follow
T-Where did the bitter go? More peach than anything else, just a bit above-average sweet, below average bitter for the style. No alcohol at all.
M-Interesting persistence of chewiness even after on the palate for a few seconds. Moderate (+) body, minimal carbonation.
O-exceptionally well balanced DIPA.

9/26/20 can from Vinyl Beer on the UES NYC. Definitely past it’s prime. Pours an opaque amber orange with two fingers of frothy white head that stick around, nice lacing, smell is very Pilsner biscuity malts and mild grassy bitterness, taste follows with wonder bread, cotton candy, mild orange flesh and orange blossom, feel is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation. K sure this is a shell of its former self so will need to revisit with a fresh can.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Willi Becher pint glass; canned 09/16/2020.
A: Pours a hazy, very dark golden, nearly amber color with solid carbonation and clearing, leaving a three finger, foamy, off-white head, strong retention (nearly a half finger for a while), and foamy rings of lacing.
S: Fruity opening with beaucoup aromas of peach, grapefruit, and citrus candy (?lemon) out front with lychee, caramel and mango on the back end.
T: Semisweet. Mango, peach, lychee, lemon, and pine all play a rôle in the melange, providing a balance with the solid bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with good persistence of carbonation (on swirl test, the head pops right back in place). Not at all boozy.
O: Heard a lot of positivity about American Solera. This is a fascinating olfactory/gustatory experience: clearly well deserved.

Canned on 9/16; pours out a lovely hazy pale orange with a fluffy and creamy white head. Nose and palate is full of bright and fruity Nelson hops; notes of melon, tangerine, tropical fruits, spiced mango, green hop vine and white grapes, with a dank presence as well as a soft balancing malt bill. Bitterness is light but present, and overall this is a really delicious NEIPA.

Canned on 9-16-20.
A - Opaque medium orange tan color with very thick, dense, white lacing that barely subsides after the pour.
S - Tropical fruit, mango, citrus, and spicy pepper on the nose. Overall: very aromatic and fruity pungent.
T - Follows the nose. Berry, mango, citrus, tropical fruit, and weed all wrapped up in some peppery spiciness. Finishes more on the sweeter side and leaves a long lingering berry/citrus/mango finish.
M - Thick body with light thinness around the edges. Very dry on the back of the tongue while the rest of the mouth waters profusely.
O - This is a fantastic D-IPA and the Nelson hops really take front stage.
