Slight haze and cloudiness suggests that, if this is indeed a WC-style IPA, it is an unfiltered one - by no means a bad thing. Head production and retention are modest at best.
Pleasant and resinous aroma. Pine, peach, grapefruit, lemon; slightly floral. Very, very nice.
Flavor follows. It's a bit thin and watery on the palate, not unlike a session IPA despite the solid ABV. Fairly dank and resinous, much more so than on the nose - given the hop profile, that's perhaps not surprising. Lemon and sweet citrus notes take lead. Quite floral on the palate, as well. Thin, crackery malt base, with a hint of pilsner malt flavor, perhaps.
Do you want a crushable 6.5% ABV WC-style IPA? I'm not sure that I do. There's a remarkable likeliness to Founders All Day IPA, which shouldn't be the case for a beer 50% stronger, IMO. This beer certainly lets the hops shine, however, with little malt to stand in the way. Definitely an enjoyable beer.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a good-sized, white head of rocky foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace on the glass. It smelled of pine, grasses, caramel and toffee. It tasted of bitter piney resin, citrus and toffee.

Pours an effervescent gold with 3 fingers of ( vigorous pour ) ivory colored head. Average head retention & lacing
S: Pine & grapefruit, a little cattyness once warm
T: Follows the nose, bready dryness as well up front. Pineyness & breadyness, plus dryness along with grapefruit as this warms. Finishes dry, cakey with pine & grapefruit
MF: Medium body, pretty firm carbonation, good balance
Solid for the style, but expected more, drinkable enough
