This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and no lacing.
This is just an explosion of creamy vanilla goodness on the nose, to the detriment of pretty much anything else.
There is a truckload of vanilla in this. It's subtle in the way that a sledgehammer to the mouth is subtle. It's certainly tasty, and it's impressive how much of an authentic vanilla flavor they achieved here. I would like other flavors, though. There's a hint of barrel but it's pretty significantly buried by the sweetness.
This is sweet, sticky, and thick, with no real booziness to it.
If you're a vanilla fan, you'll like this, but you've gotta be aware that it's just so unbalanced.

Pours a rich dark brown, almost black color that allows a touch of light through it. It sits jet black in the glass with a rich, dark tan head that seems to last forever.
Aromas of brownie batter, floral vanilla beans, blondie batter, honey, frosting, dark chocolate, rye spice and a touch of spearmint.
Explosions of vanilla truffles, dark chocolate and coffee bitterness. Oaky dry tannins, very balanced, and never gets too sweet, even at room temp.
Medium carb, but probably the most buttery smooth barrel-aged stout I’ve ever had.
