Handsome crystal-clear amber brew with fine-grained foam in the Timmermans goblet. Pleasant citrus aroma. Tangy and spritzy on the tongue with a fairly light body for the high ABV. Sweetness is moderate with an acidic finish. Flavors of orange peel and grapefruit peel, even to the hot sensation on the lips. I am not sold on this Simcoe Hyperboost hop thing. There doesn't seem to be any depth to the hoppy taste, just the bitterness and a little candy in the aftertaste. Still, it's quite sippable for a late night closer but I am not sure I will respect it in the morning. From the 16 oz can dated 08/12/25.
