Cool space in downtown Waterloo. Lots of wood and larger tables. Good German style beers with a a few American IPAs. 18 different beers on tap. The staff was great. Very helpful. Will definitely go back.

Across the street from Hopskeller so you get two brewpubs from one parking space. Visited shortly after it opened so I had time to sit and visit with the bartender/owner. No food. Tried the Honey Kolsch - it was very good. Previously had an oatmeal stout brewed for last summer's eclipse; also very good. A very good reason to visit Waterloo, Illinois.
