on tap at the source; first experience with Backslope; 'Belgian stout on nitro'
poured into a pint glass
P black w/ a 1f creamy super light tan head
N soft-med nose of Belgian yeast and cocoa notes
T a ridiculously smooth blend of roast, cocoa, and fruity esters (banana is the most prominent); a touch of spice as well; cohesive and flavorful
Mf fairly full-bodied and extremely smooth, once again; creamy
O a unique style executed well; hugely drinkable, and one of the best nitro beers I've ever had; my glass emptied quickly; would happily have again, given the chance!
