Dark red, the middle looks black-ish, but the edges glow ruby, all under a short khaki blanket that quickly disperses to a creamy ring.
More caramelly than typical, dark caramels near Riesen with a touch of brulee or brown sugar before a hint of gingersnap meets very mild phenols.
It actually reminds a little of Hoppin' Frog's barrel aged quads, more so than a traditional dubbel.
