Somewhat clear dark garnet with a fuzzy pink head that dissipates quickly.
To me the barrel expression immediately translates as peppery whiskey and even adds a cream soda-like vanilla, so with the tart cherry element it's almost like a fizzy old fashioned, but with a bit more body. A touch of char emerges with time.
Damn surprised at the quality of these sours.
