650 ml bottle split two ways. A “Braggot IPA”.
Pours a very slight hazy pale straw colour with scant white head.
Aroma of citrus - lemon, orange - melon, a bit of pine, a touch of a white wine characteristic.
Taste honey sweetness, melon, citrus, a little bit grassy, and piney hop on the sides of the palate; on swallow almost a mild citric tartness to slight bitterness balancing the honey, fruity floral sweetness.
Soft medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation - smooth and refreshingly drinkable - sneaky 8.5% well hidden. Very nice sipping beer.
24/11/2022 Repeat but in a can - not fresh but delightful. Crisp and refreshing - sharp bright carbonation - citrus and melon and a nice white wine note. Under rated at 3.99!
