A- Coppery rusty, semi opaque and with orange hues in the background when held up against the light. The head starts out about two fingers thick, and shows off as creamy and dense.....also is light tan in color. After a few minutes the head does dissipate down into a thick swirl of a film over top the liquid. Carbonation appears to be rapid in its rise to the top of the and shows many small aggressive columns. As for the lacing, well it is modest at best....somewhat watery and slides back into the brew rather fast. Overall this looks to be a decent enough looking Bock!
S- Right off the bat I get hints of sweet root beer, alongside dark dried fruits, dark caramel inspired malts, sarsaparilla root, some citrusy dried fig.....the finish is sweet and lasting, really showing off the malt character!
T- If this makes sense, it is intense, yet mild at the same time, with rich malty smooth caramel and/or toffee. I am also getting a chocolate note in the middle of the taste, and a black tea or coffee astringency on the finish. Woodsy notes also show themselves throughout the taste. A nice overall flavor on the palate....must be this Norwegian yeast that is used!
M/O- Creamy mouthfeel with plenty of wee tight carbonation with provides much flavor from start to finish. The body is medium and I find the alcohol content is super well hidden in the background, which is delightful! This would pair well with a fish and chips dinner or anything along those pub style meals. I would purchase this again and am quite pleased overall with this one...well done!

22 ounce bomber split two ways.
Pours a clear deep chestnut colour with finger and half of creamy light tan to khaki head.
Aroma initially malty with notes of toffee, some dark fruit, caramel, and as warmed a bit of smokiness on a woody backing.
Tastes of sweet caramel malt, slightly earthy hops; toffee, oaky, and again just a hint of a smoky flavour.
Medium full mouthfeel with the sweetness of the malt carrying through with moderate carbonation - 7% ABV peeking through nicely on a cooling fall evening.
