Stopped into the brewery a week or so ago, saw this one on tap and had to give it a shot. I am a huge fan of bourbon/oak/rum/wine/ANY barrel aged beers, especially when I find something different than an imperial stout/bw. That said, this one was nothing special. Poured a lightly cloudy dark red color, with a thin beige head that disappears quickly. On the nose, a little oak, sweet malt, caramel and earthy hops. Medium-bodied, good oaky flavors, sweet, vanilla, nuts and caramel.
