a big sticky red ipa. lovely lacey white head and very clear beer. smells like resiny and piney hops, with a touch of red malt. very drinkable for a double ipa, as it doesnt have the heaviest body in the world, and it isnt sweet at the end, which can sometimes make these more of a sipper than a slammer. scored a frowler fresh from the brewery for 13 dollars, which i must say is a great value. overall a nice beer, not my favorite that they made, but a very good example of the style.

Thanks to my friends Ken and Kevin for sharing this one Saturday afternoon. Poured a clear reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, pine, light grapefruit and light tangerine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, pine and light grapefruit with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.
