12 oz. on-tap served in pint glass at brewpub
L: about 80% clear, just a slight haze to it, 3/4-inch head of offwhite foam that is super sticky; keeps a good collar of beige foam; laces some on the way down; beautiful brew
S: hoppy off the top, pine, grapefruit, orange peel, orange, candied orange
T: pine, bitter pine, orange, candied orange; the bitterness bites then lingers and lingers and builds a firm foundation for the sweeter notes to dance on; malt gets biscuity and is adding sweetness; at times it almost tastes like a grapefruit bomb, but then the pine overtakes it again ... bitter pine is by far the leading note and a good one
F: light but very crisp, super easy to drink
O: a great hop vessel that delivers a big bitter punch of pine and citrus, allows the malt to sweeten it up with a perfect mouthfeel; it's 5.8% ABV so would be hard for me to handle much more than three or four in a session, but what a session it'd be; I could drink a lot of this
