Combining El Dorado, Citra, Falconers Flight, and Cascade Hops for a bright and delicious tasting IPA that pays tribute to our hometown Taylor Ducks. Boiled for 90 minutes, the malt forward foundation supports a flavorful citrus hop profile that is not too bitter and a clean West Coast Ale finish.

Part of a mixed twelvesky.
Not that impressive in the glass but not bad either.
A citrusy piney grapefruit aroma and flavor accent a solid base and good west coast feel, to make an overall solid IPA.

From a can produced 6/18/19. Pours an orange color with a finger of white head. Faint floral aroma. Medium feel. Solid malty base with sticky pine flavors.

12 oz. can poured into craft beer glass from Libbey (wide-mouthed stick)
(Batch #8 printed on bottom of can)
L: mostly clear gold topped by 1/2-inch head of white/offwhite foam that's very sticky
S: grapefruit, orange peel, a little "green" hop aroma ... grass mainly
T: sweet citrus, grapefruit juice, orange, some earthy citrus peel bitterness ... also a tropical fruit flavor that's hard for me to name, maybe kiwi, definitely a bit sweet
F: very solid, good weight with loads of crispness from the carbonation to make it move
O: mighty fine American IPA, loaded with bitter hop flavor and a fantastic mouthfeel; it's not exactly a grapefruit bomb, but it has plenty of grapefruit flavor with a nice mix of other notes

Appearance: Very hazy amber orange glass holds a rocky off white head that laces.
Aroma: Malty sweetness, with a little earthy hop note, kinda upside down for an IPA.
Taste: Big malty base with some orange skin citric notes. Mild metallic note in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, medium carbonation, frothy, oily, a little hot in the finish.
Overall: A nice beer. The hop profile isn't as west coast as I like, or as dialed up as I like, or just used more in the bittering rather than aroma, as I think it's the hops driving the metallic edge I'm getting. First taste from yet another brewery in Texas, I wish them well.
